There is nothing like a fall or winter day spent hunting here at McKean Farms. We are a multiple generation farm family, who is dedicated to conservation, preservation, farming and the love of the outdoors. We have put a lot of effort into preserving the land and the nostalgia of hunting days gone by. The farm consists of 416+ acres of natural coverts, brushy fence lines, cropland and CRP ground.  This is ideal habitat for our game birds and an outstanding place to hunt. Bring along your hunting buddy, friend, son/daughter or even your wife and enjoy a great day outdoors here on the farm. We offer a couple different arrays of hunting areas you can try your luck at. We also offer some very stylish gun dogs and experienced guides if needed.  Come experience the hard flying, long tailed cackling roosters as they explode from some of the most diversified terrain in southeastern Ohio. Season runs October 19th thru the end of March or UNTIL WE RUN OUT OF BIRDS! 
 
Open 7 days a week.  Reservations are required.

No bag limit on pheasant, quail or chukar. 

In state license required. No out of state license required.

Standard hunts run $110.00 per person. 
(This includes two roosters ) 

Other birds harvested during the hunt:
$35.00 per additional rooster 
$18.00 per chukar

$12.00 per quail.



Dogs and guides are available in advance notice. 

Dog and/or guides work on tips.


A hunt usually lasts approximately 4 hours.
